Marsha Prattley, Registered Massage Therapist, CranioSacral Therapy, and Visceral Manipulation
Welcome!
My name is Marsha Prattley, and I thank you for your interest in my clinic! I have been practicing Massage Therapy since 2008, CranioSacral Therapy since 2010 and Visceral Manipulation since 2013. I graduated from MacEwan University's Massage Therapy Program in 2008, and have taken CranioSacral Therapy I and II, SomatoEmotional Release I and II, Advanced CranioSacral Therapy I, and CranioSacral Applications for Conception, Pregnancy and Birthing I with the Upledger Institute. I have also taken Visceral Manipulation I, II, III and IV and Neuromeningeal Manipulation I with the Barral Institute and I am very excited to continue my studies in this area to bring yet another skill set into my treatments. I am registered with the MTAA, which allows for benefits coverage with all insurance companies.
My passion is providing gentle, holistic treatments that are individualized and every appointment is unique. Please note that gentle does not mean superficial! Gentle means waiting for the tissue to release, instead of forcing the tissue to let go. The goal of my treatments is to restore balance in the body with specific, yet gentle treatments using a variety of techniques. These include Swedish Massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Myofacial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Trigger Point Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage and Hydrotherapy.
I provide treatments to a wide range of clients in all stages of life and I have a special interest in infants, children, pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum and breastfeeding. There are many conditions that may be treated, such as whiplash, chronic pain, concussions, tension and migraine headaches, postural dysfunctions, behavioral disorders and pregnancy related conditions.
The clinic is located a few minutes west of Stony Plain, Alberta.
